This week, Atlantic will exhibit at the 2015 Kansas Association for Floodplain Management, Inc. (KAFM) Conference in Kansas City. Atlantic is off to a great start with our 5-year contract with the State of Kansas. In the first year alone, we acquired and developed nearly 10,000 mi2 of USGS QL2+ LiDAR data for four (4) separate areas within the State of Kansas.
As we head into the final stages of delivery on the 2014-15 data collected and begin working towards the 2015-16 collection season, I can’t help but feel excited about our partnership with the State of Kansas. I am looking forward to answering questions about our approach, the results of the data itself (better than 4 ppsm and ~6cm RMSEz) and getting ideas about how to consistently improve our processes and techniques to make certain our clients in Kansas get the highest ROI possible.
If you plan to be at the conference, please stop to say hello and ask us questions. Also, please attend my presentation covering the Kansas Statewide LiDAR Program.
