Atlantic, a Huntsville-based company specializing in remote sensing, surveying and consulting services, has been awarded a General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule 899 for Environmental Services.

The Environmental Services Schedule 899 is a resource for industry experts (like Atlantic) that provide support to government agencies.  According to GSA, “services under this Schedule are designed to support agencies in meeting their environmental requirements and streamline the contracting process by providing a faster, more cost efficient means to meet environment requirements.”

“The award of a GSA Schedule is significant for our growing small business,” said Patrick Harris, Chief Business Development Officer of Atlantic and Licensed Professional Geologist.  “It not only allows us to grow our current environmental service offering, but it also allows us a vehicle to continue to grow the government-site staffing and support services of our business.”

The award includes SINs (Special Item Numbers) 1 – Consulting Services and 7 – GIS Services.  Atlantic’s Schedule offers competitive government-site pricing and can be used for its existing and future clients to procure services that do not fall under Part 36 of the FAR.  This designation will significantly expedite and simplify the buying process for our government clients at all levels.

“The fact that we were able to secure a GSA contract in an expeditious manner speaks volumes about our willingness to partner and work with our government clients,” said Steve Denney, Chief Executive Officer of Atlantic.  “We clearly showed GSA a roadmap of how we can help promote the GSA contract vehicle by selling environmental services, SETA services and geospatial services to our existing and future clients.”

Atlantic’s Schedule 899 was awarded by the GSA on March 1, 2013.  The contract period is extended through February 28, 2018.
