During the week of September 18 – 22, Atlantic will attend both the 2017 GIS in the Rockies (GISITR) as well as the 2017 AGIC Geospatial Education and Training Symposium for the very first time.  Atlantic has significantly increased its geographic expansion activity in the Western United States this past year.  With numerous federal, state, local, tribal and private projects ongoing, the decision to attend these conferences offers Atlantic an opportunity to connect with our existing clients as well as meet prospective clients. “Atlantic’s strategic plan includes geographic expansion into the Western United States.” said Brian Mayfield, Atlantic’s President & CEO. “The amount of work we have secured over the past several years throughout the Rockies, Pacific Northwest and Southwestern Regions have provided a great foundation for meeting our growth objectives.” Now that Atlantic has grown into a national service provider, the team is anxious to further develop its network within the Western U.S. geospatial communities through direct, intentional time with other movers and shakers of the industry at next week’s conferences.

Atlantic’s Associate of Business Development, Jonathan Byham, will be attending the 2017 AGIC Geospatial Education and Training Symposium in Prescott, AZ, September 19-22, at the Prescott Resort and Conference Center. The Arizona Geographic Information Council is Arizona’s primary forum and oversight group for geographic information and geographic information technology issues and coordination efforts. Jonathan will be attending various presentations and workshops to gain more knowledge and understanding about partnership opportunities for Atlantic in Arizona and the surrounding areas. Please contact Jonathan at jonathan.byham@atlantic.tech if you would like to set up a time to meet and learn more about Atlantic.

Kimberley Denney, Atlantic’s Vice President, will be representing Atlantic at the 2017 GIS in the Rockies (GISITR) in Denver, Colorado on September 20th and 21st as a regular attendee, while also volunteering as the Vendor Showcase Track Chair. GISITR is the Rocky Mountain West’s premier geospatial information and technology conference. With Denver and the surrounding area often being referred to as one of the major “geospatial hubs” in the United States, this conference will serve as a terrific opportunity to learn firsthand more about the regional market directly from the influencers and decision makers. Although Kimberley will be managing the Vendor Showcase track, she will have plenty of time for meetings on the side throughout each day and welcomes any chance to meet with those interested in Atlantic’s capabilities and activities out west.  Please contact Kimberley at kimberley.denney@atlantic.tech to see when she will be available throughout each day to meet with you!
